On
September 12, 1976, 20 visionary Delta women became the charter
members of the Rancocas Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma
Theta Sorority, Inc. The chapter began with modest financial
resources, far-sighted plans and dedicated optimism. Deltas
from the New Jersey communities of Willingboro, Mt. Holly,
Pemberton and Burlington began, what is now, an active, thriving
local Delta chapter providing public service throughout the
greater Rancocas Valley area |
